Being a child in 1968, I think that all policemen are flawless
superheroes. They know everything, especially the law and the
resulting official acts. Fear and doubt they do not know and they catch
criminals by the bushes. They smell danger and destruction at minimal distance.
They are strong, energetic, do not need to eat and drink during their heavy services.
They run and swim as far as necessary to attract people and needy from their
misery on dry land.
If necessary, they kick with their heavy duty shoes
locomotives and wagons of the track. They lift condominiums and walk underneath
to cut off the track and thus the crooks their stride. Bureaucracy they do not
know, Yippieyayee.
They solve everything with coal creating hands and common
sense. The impossible they immediately conjure upon request, miracles, well who
do take a little longer. So much for my fantasy equations, in light of the
thoughts of me as a child.
Gosh, I wish I could join the police force. Later, the
action to those words at the insistence of my former rock in the surf and
current ex girlfriend, who has maneuvered me in this Lawfull direction. Thanks
babe!
In 1984, I pull back my boxing contest memories for the former
police championships in Rotterdam. Why am I telling you this? Because I
recently read again the former police personnel petal talking about my boxing
record. I feel this fight still in my
memory (dodge, parry, attack, a hard race)
My attention is particularly drawn to read a piece in which
I have read many times over. This time not. That’s why I share this love. It is about; how people
in 1968 think over the police.
The written piece is not mine. I've used it as a fun
ingredient for this blog. I have the piece for most typed part because, at that
time was Bill Gates still not working with computers and the subsequent program
Word perfect has not been invented yet. Cut and paste that time goes on paper
with glue, a brush and greasy fingers! Unlike now, of course!
Nowadays there is a lot of violence against police and we
all know that no superheroes work with the police. But normal people who every
day dealing with emotions and give their blood, sweat and tears to the job the
mastering and do what is needed to make the landscapes in every country, safe.
No matter what!
It Is well known that the society has a lot of resistance
and no longer recognizes the authority of the government, in whatever form or
cast by anyone propagated.
A police man nowadays has a heart that can, may and will
bleed into "the line of duty." Also bleeds a police man today
spiritually. We call it PTSD, a horrible monster that remains invisible hurt in
a whole police family, a lifetime! Just try out heroes in a fix, you have my
unconditional respect,
The particullery story from 1968 then A police officer is a mixture of all
kinds of people, made up of saints and sinners, dust and divinity.
What is an agent? On the one hand he is the one of all the
people who need it most, on the other hand he is most undesirable. He is a rare
nameless creature, addressed in his face with Mr. policeman behind his back
with idiot.
He must be so diplomatic that after the settlement of a
dispute, all parties believe they have been vindicated. He must give sentence
immediately, which a court may take months, even years need.
He is friendly, he imagines it, he's not, then it is said;
he whines!
He is neatly dressed, he is conceited. Missing a button on
his uniform, he is a tramp.
He hurries, he is reckless. He is careful he is lazy.
He must first arrive at the scene of the accident or crime
and infallible in asking his opinion.
He must be capable of with two men, twice as long and half
as old, to have at the same time to the stick. Without damaging be uniform and
without being rough.
When someone strikes on him, he is a scared coward. He
strikes back, then he is a brute.
A policeman must know everything and can not say anything.
He must know the sins, but shall have no part in it.
The police should be able to use a single human hair in a
crime case, describing the weapon and the offender, and if possible also
directly know where the culprit is hiding.
But when he grabs the perpetrator, he is lucky. When he
doesn’t grabs him, then he is a fool.
An agent must be 10 nights do his best to find a witness who
if push comes to shove nothing can be remembered by this witness.
He studies documents and writes pieces until his eyes are going
to hurt, to bring a process against a criminal is made that no more than once
at liberty.
A policeman must be simultaneously minister, social worker,
diplomat, raw guy and gentleman.
When he is promoted, it just comes only by the good
participation of others. He is not promoted, he's a bum.
He must be a genius in any case, because it should provide
the ultimate need of good workmanship during such service.
Certainly, the above personification humorous and sarcastic
but also meant as a very realistic daily blueprint. Negative feelings and
sentiments are not suppress unfortunately. It is often not rosy in blue police
country as a matter of speech!
Tip of the iceberg. Police officers are older and know
inhuman stress that is experienced during their services. Atrocities are first
reported to us. We are required to make every human effort to quell the chaos
and ensure an acceptable safe public space. We drive aimlessly, not only random laps in
a hot police car through the neigbourhood. We don't drink coffee all day.
Sleep after night services with the progress of our state
pension age of entitlement more difficult and much shorter. Night shifts are
becoming more nearly insurmountable hurdles, they are heavy and unhealthy. Our
average age is growing evenly with the rest of the Netherlands and its
inhabitants.
We need to be fit. Fit and exercises we mainly do in our
free time. Why So? In order to continue and pursue that profession with gusto.
Sports and skill tests should be obtained. Consequences of not obtaining that
the police man in question may no longer armed to the streets.
Sports and fitness tests in the future a possible practical
splits in the police incident handling. I am confident that everything will be
fine! This week I passed all these tests again. For this year, I checked positive
again.
The Thin Blue Line is a close-knit family that knows much
noise with just one goal. Servitude and vigilance. This slogan can be found on
our outstanding service cars.
Viva La France,
Liberté, égalité, fraternité has proven and his extremists off. The
entire police force in France, the last few days but had a priority, namely the
hunt for extremists. The superheroes still exist and come from France.
The land of Pain, Vin et Boursin, power food for body and
mindset that should be obvious.
I'm Charlie,
So, now we can go back in the Netherlands to the order of
the day. Neighbors Quarrels, fights divorces, about growing branches and other
civil issues this report to the police. Where is the self-reliance!
PS; my ex girlfriend is my dear wife!
